2025.10.09. Canal Rocks
Today we were off to Busselton, Sue and I to walk the jetty, and see whatever else we wanted to, while Caroline and David visited friends. Beautiful day, and although it looked like rain we didn't get any. Once at end of jetty, I asked, and there was room on the 15 minute self guided tour to underwater aquarium, so down we went. Was well worth it to see everything snd as really calm day up above, was very calm underwater as well.
We then checked out the heritage trail, first stop being the Courthouse Cafe, with the food being modern, thank goodness. Lots of history about shipwrecks, the old goal, and of course room for art displays. We enjoyed it all.
Continuing on the trail, which we didn't realise was so long, but maybe we were just tired, we made it to the museum. Interesting I found things that I'd used as a young person like the old irons, due to us living without electric power.
Random old trees.
Met back up with rest of our group, and headed home, with our first visit to a local winery to pick up a drink to go with dinner. Glad to rest a little, and just have a wander along the beach, playing ball with somebody else's dog, who was waylaying everyone to throw her ball.
